Origins

Davis Jews for Justice is a progressive, social justice oriented group formed in 2024 by four Jewish women seeking a safe and supportive place to explore our relationship with Israel and Palestine.

Our Core Beliefs

1. Nobody is free unless we are all free
2. Jewish values include welcoming the stranger and standing up for the oppressed
3. Zionism is a form of supremacy that has unfortunately resulted in genocide, apartheid and the ethnic cleansing of Palestine, which is contrary to Jewish values, therefore, we come together and identify as non-Zionist Jews
4. As Jews we have an obligation to resist fascism, imperialism, and injustice in all forms, particularly where U.S. involvement makes us complicit
